The tasks of the technician consist of preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment in the clean room. Technicians are the first point of contact for the operators if something goes wrong in the Fab.

In addition to preventive maintenance, they ensure that defective machines are quickly repaired and running. They also work on technical projects and implement technical modifications. The technicians have daily contact with the team leaders and engineers regarding maintenance. A technician is also always a member of the Fab Intervention Team. They also wear cleanroom suits.

What is a cleanroom? The cleanroom is a dust-free environment with a constant temperature of 22°C. You can only enter the cleanroom if you are wearing a cleanroom suit.

Because the cleanroom is such a strict environment, the devices are installed "through wall" to minimize intervention in the cleanroom itself. In the "service bay," a less stringent cleanroom environment, the most contaminated portions of the devices are found. That area therefore contains the pumps, motors and piping necessary for the operation of the device. If maintenance or repair needs to be performed on a device, the wafers and other devices will not be affected.

Responsibilities
● Daily follow up of high-tech equipment in our class 1 cleanroom
● Performing preventive and corrective maintenance
● Implementing technical improvements
● Monitoring high-tech devices
● Sitting in on various technical projects
● Being first point of contact for operators, team leaders and engineers

REQUIREMENT
● Technical bachelor’s degree (electromechanics/electronics)
● Affinity for technology and working in clean room environment
● Strong sense of responsibility
● Detail oriented and able to follow procedures with a quality mindset

● Strong communicator but can also work independently
● Works in a five-shift system (rotating early, late, night & weekend)
● Fluent in English

You will be offered monthly contracts via Randstad. After a duration of 12 months, you can be offered a permanent contract directly with the company.
The first half of your first contract is a trial period during which both parties can end the contract at any time.

We can provide temporary housing. The cost will bevbetween 110 and 125 euro per week, incl. electricity, water, gas and internet.
