Job description

The Facility Manager will be directly responsible for the provision of facilities services in a
prestigious factory (security, cleaning, technical supervision and coordination)
-ensure that the highest standards of facility management services are provided to the client
while having regard to cost considerations
-ensure the regular liaison with occupiers and being the first point of contact for advice and
guidance in connection with the day-to-day physical operation of the building.
-be directly responsible for site-based employees and their assessment, training and
development and day-to-day management, you will also be asked to advice on staff structures
-provide and organize reactive maintenance and day-to-day service requirements undertaken in
a timely and cost-effective manner
-will also involve the establishment and maintenance of high-quality health and safety
-ensure the maintenance, test and implementation of disaster planning procedures to cover all
emergencies, including the organization and co-ordination of fire evacuation and bomb drills
-must establish and maintain proper site records in accordance with best practice rules
-ensures timely maintenance of systems and facilities using computerized
maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance programs
-coordinates and schedules work by outside contractors to minimize inconvenience and
disruption of business
-provides technical assistance, creating long & short-term plans and management of the facility
-recommends the purchases of new equipment, major capital expenditures, and major
maintenance repairs
-prepares technical specifications for minor projects and/or equipment replacements
-provides project management for capital improvements
-provides monthly status reports


-Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in technical field
-minimum 3 years’ experience in leading teams
-minimum 2 years of experience working with business stakeholders
-experience in Facility is a plus
-strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and
down multiple business
-proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
-self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
-experience in negotiating contracts
-experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within
budget close
-experience leading and motivating various team sizes, including internal and external resources,
while holding team accountable for performance
-strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills,
both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management
-technically competent with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft
Office, AutoCAD
-must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
