We are recruiting a Junior / Mid Underwriter for a company in the insurance sector, as part of a growing team focused on building a strong and sustainable portfolio.
What you’ll do
Assess insurance applications and evaluate risk (medical, financial, technical) Decide on policy terms, pricing, and risk acceptance Work with brokers, clients, and internal teams on quotes and risk assessments Contribute to product development and underwriting guidelines Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure Improve processes through automation and digital tools
What we’re looking for
Experience in underwriting or insurance (depending on seniority) Strong analytical and decision-making skills Understanding of risk assessment principles Experience with underwriting tools is a plus Good communication skills English required
This role combines analytical thinking with decision-making and gives you exposure to both traditional underwriting and modern tools.
Please note that the role follows a hybrid working model, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remote, while the first month is fully onsite for onboarding.
