We are looking for a bilingual Romanian–English Translator & Administrative Assistant to support our solar power (GES) projects. This role combines translation and administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between Romanian and English-speaking teams, partners and authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Translation:
Translate technical, legal and business documents related to our project from Romanian to English and vice versa.
Ensure translations are accurate, consistent and aligned with industry terminology.
Review and proofread translated materials for grammar, clarity and accuracy.
Support communication with local partners, suppliers and government institutions when needed in Romania.
Administrative Support:
Assist with document management, filing and correspondence related to project
operations.
Support scheduling, meeting coordination and travel arrangements.
Take and prepare meeting minutes and ensure proper follow-up on action items.
Maintain databases and records of contracts, permits and other project documentation.
Provide general administrative and logistical support to the project and management teams.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Romanian–English translator and/or administrative assistant.
Excellent command of Romanian and English (spoken and written).
Knowledge of renewable energy or construction industry terminology is a strong advantage.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with document management systems.
Attention to detail, confidentiality and professionalism.
Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Work Type: On-site (office-based) and mobile as required
