Job description

The Civil Technician will support the civil engineering team in the construction and installation of foundations, access roads, site grading, and other infrastructure necessary for the solar PV plant. This includes conducting site surveys, material testing, and assisting with civil construction tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the construction of foundations, drainage systems, access roads, and other necessary infrastructure for the solar plant.
Perform routine inspections and quality checks during construction to ensure all work meets design specifications and Romanian construction standards.
Assist with site preparation for the installation of solar panel mounting systems and trackers.
Collaborate with the civil engineering team and other contractors to ensure civil works are integrated correctly with electrical and mechanical systems.
Ensure that all civil work adheres to safety regulations and environmental protection policies.



Requirements

Qualification Requirements:


Education:
Technical diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.


Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in civil construction and site preparation for large-scale projects.
Experience with renewable energy projects or solar PV installations would be an advantage.


Skills & Competencies:
Familiarity with construction materials, site grading, foundations, and drainage systems.
Ability to perform site surveys, material testing, and quality checks on civil work.


Language Skills:
Native Romanian and basic English (both spoken and written).


Legal Requirement:
Valid working permit in Romania.
