Position Summary
As the AMS Finance Lead you will be responsible for enhancements, optimization and stabilization of the FICO global template . The position requires previous experience working with an SAP global template including a deep understanding of the underlying business processes in the financial area. The candidate should be familiar with best business practices in designated area including a strong background in Finance and Accounting principles. Strong communications skills and ability to function in a matrixed organization working effectively with global core team and business team as required. SAP FI and CO application knowledge including key integration points across SAP modules is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
● Support/maintain and optimize the R2R global template.
● Participate and contribute to the successful completion of all deliverables associated with their process team, e.g., Business Process Procedures, Fit/Gap Identification and Functional Specifications.
● Support localization and statutory requirements across local markets
● Analyze business requirements and map solutions leveraging the global template functionality.
● Validate the SAP fit to business requirements. Identify workarounds and business process changes if necessary.
● Ensure consistency and integrity of the SAP configuration across business/geographies.
● Determine how business reporting requirements will be delivered by SAP functionality.
● Identify master data requirements and design master data files.
● Design and develop functional specifications for interfaces and conversions.
● Facilitate data cleansing and set up master data files, load data.
● Validate data conversion
● Configure, unit test, system test, integration and regression test Estee Lauder’s end to end solution for business events
● Participate in the issue resolution process.
● Review training content to ensure accuracy of SAP information
● Train super users
● Coach site teams on global template
● Address post-go live issues escalated by users
● Continuous improvement of global template. (Improve and optimize the global template to support changes to the business and process efficiency)
Qualifications:
● Previous experience working with large multinational that deployed global template leveraging SAP
● Strong functional knowledge of FICO functionality
● Knowledge of ASAP and SAP hybrid agile methodology
● Knowledge of SAP best practices and CPG template preferred
● Demonstrated capability to graphically document workflow, roles and responsibilities at a functional (system user) level.
● Demonstrated capability to transform functional specifications into technical specifications.
● 3 – 5 years hands of SAP financial experience at a global CPG company preferred
