Job description
A results-driven Site Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in execution, and construction supervision across large-scale building projects. With ANRE authorisation.
Key responsibilities
Supervise and manage electrical installation works at site to ensure compliance with design, specifications, standards, and safety regulations;
Coordinate subcontractors to plan and execute site works;
Monitor progress of electrical works and ensure adherence to project schedule;
Inspect material deliveries and ensure they meet approved specifications and quality requirements;
Oversee installation of LV and ELV systems including cable laying, terminations, panel installation, lighting, power, and control systems;
Review shop drawings and method statements for site implementation;
Conduct site inspections and prepare daily/weekly progress reports;
Follow up on testing and commissioning activities and resolve site issues in coordination with design and engineering teams;
Ensure implementation of health & safety requirements at site;
Maintain proper documentation and records of site activities.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience : Over 5 years experience in construction site works, preferably in hospital or healthcare projects.
Advanced in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools;
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (Local Standards, IEC, BS, NFPA, etc.);
Experience with installation, testing, and commissioning of LV and ELV systems (power distribution, lighting, fire detection, public address and voice alarm, access control, nurse call, IT network, CCTV);
Languages: English advance level
