Job description

We have an immediate opening for an energetic, customer focused Network Operations Manager in Timișoara!

A NOC manager’s responsibilities include:

  • managing all aspects of network operations center, management of connectivity, network performance, network and system trouble shooting, monitoring tools, alarm conditions as well as escalation processes and procedures, leading and defining the process of troubleshooting and participating in change management and root cause analysis and interfacing with field operations, and network service providers. 
  • recruiting the technical staff and has to ensure that the team works in compliance with the company’s policy and procedures, manage day-to-day activities of network operations team responsible for all aspect of maintaining a distributed network, including preventative maintenance, fault isolation, manage connectivity, network performance and timely outage resolution.
  • managing and coordinating the NOC team. The main aim for this coordination is to ensure that the networking system runs efficiently without interruption.
  • coordinating the duty shift table for the NOC operations and carefully allocates staff members (NOC technicians and NOC engineers) on different shift duties for ensuring the whole NOC shift works in an efficient and effective manner.
  • managing team performance and quality 
  • managing SLA/KPI’s and improving 
  • people management and development 


  • Knowledge of telephony networking, wireless and data circuits to support customer requirements within various market segments (Enterprise/Government/Small-Medium Business).  
  • Knowledge of European Telecom markets and service providers.
  • Strongly preferred working technical knowledge of Telecom infrastructure, major Wireless/ WAN/MPS products
  • Eight years prior NOC experience
  • Flexibility and creativity, Self-discipline, self-motivation and the ability to organize and prioritize time effectively.
  • Proficient with the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), 
  • NOC managers require at least a bachelor's degree with qualifications in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunication engineering and information technology and related field
