There are people who, from the first exchange of words, transmit a special energy to you. Ramona is one of them. She impresses with the determination with which she followed her professional path and with the authenticity and empathy she brings to everything she does. I am glad that I had the opportunity to learn her story and share it further.

From a childhood dream to a career in HR

"When I was little I dreamed of becoming an artist, I loved to paint," Ramona tells me with a nostalgic, amused smile. "However, as a teenager I realized that I had no artistic talent, only an artistic vision, so I completely reoriented myself and went towards the exact sciences – mathematics, economics, etc. – but I kept the 'color' in my life."

That says a lot about her: Ramona is the person who combines her creative nature with logical and structured thinking – the perfect combination for someone working in HR, especially in the area of international recruitment.

From a young age, she was familiar to work and responsibility. At 18, Ramona worked in the HoReCa industry, and throughout college, she continued to work during her summer vacations. “Those years were good for me – I learned a lot about people, about organization, and about what it means to provide quality service.”

She then pursued economic studies, specializing in public administration and secretarial work – a choice that provided her with a solid framework for her subsequent development.

The beginning at Randstad

Ramona started at Randstad as a junior recruiter in the cross-border team – a dynamic team, where the pace is fast and the challenges are constant. But it was here that she felt in her element.

Today, she is a Crossboarding Delivery Manager, coordinating international projects and a team of extraordinary people. Her role is to connect talents from Romania with professional opportunities abroad and provide them with real support, step by step, in the relocation and integration process.

"I support Romanians who want a major change in their professional life, guiding them towards opportunities outside the country. Together, we write success stories in Randstad Romania's international projects."

Ramona is the kind of person who does her job with meaning. She told me that she found herself in Randstad's values from the very beginning and that the impact she can have in people's lives was her main motivation.

"I have been in total harmony with the Randstad mission and values since the beginning. The desire to contribute to a healthy professional environment and the growth of those around me was the foundation on which I built alongside an extraordinary team."

I asked her what she would say to those just starting their careers in recruiting. Her answer was honest, clear, and valuable:

"Invest in communication, organizational, and adaptability skills. International recruiting requires both empathy and strategy. When implemented correctly, these skills can generate long-term success. Never forget to put people at the center of everything you do and remain authentic."

Why Randstad?

"I chose Randstad because of the energy of the people here. I felt authenticity and professionalism right from the recruitment process, and that gave me confidence that it was the right place for me."

Ramona is proof that empathy and determination can build solid careers. Through her role in international projects, she helps Romanians access jobs abroad and transform their courage into real success.
