We are looking for a Software Architect to join our AUSY Team in a challenging project around the new Generation of connected Remote Controller used to empower the use of IoT technologies. As features we can highlight:

Best user experience and design
Integrate/Enable latest technologies
Connectivity within a complete IoT system ((sensors, Room control, multi-room/zone control, smart features).
Ever evolving software (add value/feature over time, add/update compatibility, security)
Support the growth in the EU residential heating and cooling business

Globally the team is responsible for the delivery of the software, starting from the design, coding up to the CI/CD and maintenance of the delivered software. Work in an Agile way, adapted to the team’s needs.

responsabilități
- Collaborating with stakeholders to refine the software requirements;
- Responsible for the design of the high-level concepts and component interface definition;
- Writing of the architecture design document
- Analysis and definition of the connectivity capabilities for the IoT system
- Definition of the technical frames and standards for the software development team;
- Guiding and assisting the development team throughout the process;
- Adapt and integrate existing systems in regard to the product concepts;
- Support stakeholders in defining the next generation of products;
- Reverse engineering to assess the state of the system;
- Design the interfaces between multiple systems including (eg. embedded, mobile app, connectivity, cloud..)
- Propose optimizations and improvements in regard to system performance.
calificări
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Architect;
- Minimum 5 years programming experience in C or C++, or both;
- Familiar with Agile methodology (with incremental/iterative mindset);
- Understanding of software quality assurance principles;
- Experience with microcontrollers, awareness of the difference between the host and embedded platform;
- Experience with different connectivity protocols (eg. Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
- Good communication skills;
- Team spirit;
- Good English language skills (written & spoken);
- Availability to travel (1 week/month in Belgium) at least in the beginning.
