The Portfolio Management Lead, Tech Ops holds a key leadership position within the TechOps organization and is responsible for the coordination, enhancement, and execution of various programs in Tech Ops. This role involves managing a portfolio of programs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
This role is responsible for ensuring the right programs are prioritized and delivered successfully. Importance in driving to meet the objective of our IT plan for project alignment as well as driving improvement and quality standards, benchmarks, and best practices.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritization, and Overall Execution Tracking of the Programs in Tech Ops
Ensure programs are aligned and regularly prioritized to support Technology and Corporate Strategy
Work in partnership with the leaders of TechOps and the IT organization to devise the future strategy of the TechOps portfolio and ways to mature the organizational capabilities to executive with speed, quality, and consistency’
Ensure alignment on submissions, tracking and program assurance is in place across Tech Ops
Validate and ensure initiatives ae aligned and validated with Finance, EPMO, and IP for all value realization / extraction and benchmarking
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for improvement in program management methodologies, processes, and systems.
Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and improvement.
Resource Allocation and Budgeting:
Allocate resources effectively across programs, considering budgetary constraints and strategic priorities.
Monitor and control program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Excellent strategic planning and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Six Sigma) and project management tools.
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills working closely with Finance and IP
Value Realization of the TechOps Programs and close Business Partnership:
Manage relationships with the business through regular, clear communication and partner to ensure value realization of the TechOps programs
Ensure teams are accountable to delivering against benchmarks metrics and business outcomes
Manage Risk and Build efficiencies:
Manage risk exposure across the portfolio
Manage and recommend operational and cost efficiencies for how programs are delivered, looking across IT for synergies, not just within their portfolios
Manages interdependencies across IT
Effectively work with IT finance teams to ensure overall functional budget controls
Identify gaps and need for resources and support, coach as needed
Active Support in the Maturing and Improving Delivery:
Support and recommend improvements to the Community of Practice/PMO around project management effectiveness including developing/improving processes, tools and templates.
Continuously identifies and influences the use and maturity of project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
