A global company from energy sector, who has recently entered the market, is looking for an ambitious Regional Sales Manager, to expand the business in Romania by managing clients from the Eastern part of the country.

Responsibilities:

As a Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for successfully growing the business, for allocated Key Accounts in the field of commercial road transport customers, covering the Eastern part of the country (Iasi, Bacau, Neamt, Vaslui, Suceava, Botosani, Vrancea).

  • Achieving individual sales targets (i.e. margin, volume growth, payment overdues, etc.) - 70% of the effort as well as coaching the Field based Area Sales Managers and Account Managers within the region and support achieving their targets - 30% of the effort.
  • Consistently applying the best sales standards especially in bringing best in class structure for call/journey plan, calendar management, account plan and use of CRM tools to maximize customer facing time.
  • Managing with ambition the value growth, with a deep understanding of value generation and financial dimensions-balancing growth with the credit risk.
  • Gaining and continuously improving knowledge of market development, competitors offers strengths and weaknesses to create growth opportunities as well as supporting commercial strategy in Romania and set fees, discounts, payment terms etc.
  • Carrying out negotiations with customers, preparing quotations and proposals and agreeing on all operational requirements (including price, contract, payment terms and services).
  • Identifying partnership opportunities with third party networks, cards, merchants and support implementation of those in line with country strategy and implementing adequate pricing strategy and maintain list price.
  • Representing Key Accounts in the relevant cross line business meetings, ensuring that the there is a full alignment and support to deliver the business strategy and short-term objectives.


You are the perfect match, if you meet the following criteria:

  • Commercial road transport business awareness and knowledge;
  • Proven history in sales roles / experience in sales - about 5 years of experience will be appreciated;
  • Relevant experience in managing a B2B customer portfolio in sales;
  • Strong commercial acumen, positive mindset coupled with strategic thinking ability;
  • Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset, ability to create one team approach;
  • Strong delivery through others, including successful sponsorship of regional/global topics;
  • Outstanding customer focus;
  • Strong execution skills;
  • Curiosity with demonstrated ability to learn fast;
  • Very good communication skills, including advanced English knowledge.
