We are looking for an Analyst Credit Debt Collection for Shell Romania.
Royal Dutch Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies, operating in over 70 countries and territories and employing more than 80,000 people.
Starting 1st April 2021, Shell has established a new office in Bucharest for B2B sales operations, focusing on fuel card distribution and specialized support for the companies in the international commercial road transport industry.
As an Analyst Credit Debt Collection, you will be responsible for performing debt collection activities for the company. This will require creating very good working relationships with the local Credit Team, OTC, Sales and other business partners. Having the ability to meet with the customers to discuss a range of issues but still maintain a solid relationship wherever possible.
Responsibilities
• Ensuring that customers debt is collected in line with contracted payment terms and in accordance with
Downstream Credit Manual.
• Adhering to the escalation process in carrying out the debt collection activities.
• Managing release of credit blocked orders.
• Handling customer queries as well as that of the Customer Service Center.
• Coordinating with Sales and the business account reviews on assigned portfolios.
• Investigating payment discrepancy reason if the customer fails to provide it in their remittance data.
Job required
• Bachelor's degree – Economic Cybernetics, Finance – a plus
• English Language Upper intermediate - Advanced – B2-C1
• Experience in using Microsoft Office; experience required in using Excel
• Experience in performing call-outs and other collection efforts to third party customers
