The Parts Sales Manager (PSM) is a territory based role. He/She has full responsibility for parts sales and marketing by supporting dealers to develop their sales and in parallel improving the market share and profitability of Parts & Service. The position reports to the Sales Manager.



Job description

 Achieve the quarterly and yearly sales targets in turnover and in margin;
 Be a leader for all sales opportunities and issues identified by dealers particularly focusing on incremental business (logistics activities are supported by Dealer Parts Support department)
 Analyze sales trends and KPI with Dealers (sellin, sellout, stock management, service level, margin, forecast, performance by channel, competitor benchmark...) and implement actions to develop parts business through retail channels;
 Be product focus and promote strategic product families
 Build Sales & Marketing action plans with dealers and local marketing in order to develop parts activity and service (Parts and Service package offer);
 Drive Dealer to develop sales to final customers and sub network;
 Work with dealers and/or market key account team in order to build offers to fleet customers (service level, logistics and discount offers, purchase target);
 Provide regular forecasts on sales to the management identifying risks/opportunities and deviations from the plan, explaining the causes and finding an alternative plan to achieve the target;
 Be on the field 70% of the time, the remaining time will be used for administrative tasks;
 Schedule a plan of visits to dealers, sub dealers, Key accounts, workshops;
 Use the tools identified by the company to deploy sales actions;
 Build a tailored action plan with sales men, Parts Manager and Workshop Manager (weekly business calls and monthly meetings with the parts manager and the dealer salesmen);
 For each meeting set an agenda, provide the minutes and define key actions with clear deadlines and owners;
 Share with the dealer the parts and service potential of his area and put in place the necessary actions to achieve the target in terms of market share;
 Attend PSM meetings and contribute with best practices based on experiences;
 Work with Dealer to cover adequately territory of responsibility
 Agree with the dealer a customer prospection plan and customize marketing campaigns and lead the activity follow up;
 Promote the P&S training offer and ensure the adequate level of competences of dealer staff
 Coach and support the Dealer Salesmen in order to allow them grow in competence, efficiency and autonomy;
 Attend and animate meetings for dealer salesmen and specific meetings with sub dealers;
 Dealers Terms & Conditions and manage incentive programs to dealers in line with targets;
 Stretch the dealers to achieve the targets and give regular follow up on results;
