Job description

  • prepare service strategy and executes it;
  • coordinates and plans the activities of service engineers;
  • responsible for trainings and improvement of knowledge of service engineers, related to all product groups,;
  • supervises and guide service engineers (also the service subcontractors) to effectively sell and execute service activities, related to equipment repair, installation, start-up, maintenance and other duties as required to ensure customer satisfaction;
  • maintains communication with vendors and factory personnel concerning warranty issues, product recall notices, operational problems with products, premature failures and other issues;
  • improves the sales of spare parts and maintenance contracts;
  • prepare forecasts for service sales and orders and report to financial-controlling department;
  • ensures that all company/department policies are being followed by all service engineers;
  • responsible for proper document flow: pipeline of projects, quotations, invoices, payments;
  • responsible for service engineers' performance appraisals, reviews, target setting and follow-up.


  • five years' experience related to HVAC Service Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • high knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration is an asset;
  • experience and knowledge of automation/control systems;
  • leadership skills to enhance team productivity and standards of work produced;
  • verbal and written communication skills both in Romanian and English; and strong conflict management skills;
  • highly oriented on target achievement and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments;
  • good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and general software navigation;
  • valid driver's license;
  • ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule: overtime, weekends as/if required.
