Requirements

Soft Skills

  • Passionate about programming;
  • Enjoy technical challenges, capable of proposing and evaluating a solution against requirements;
  • Ability and willingness to research tasks;
  • Desire to learn and evolve;
  • Ability to understand and interpret product specifications;
  • Teamwork (communication and relationship building skills);
  • (+) Be able to self-manage (task management);

Technical skills

  • Strong general algorithms and data structure knowledge;
  • General computer science knowledge (threading, memory management, operating systems);
  • Minimum 2 years working with Laravel;
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP and MySQL;
  • Good knowledge of OOP programming;
  • Experience working with MVC architecture (Laravel, ZF or Yii framework);
  • Advanced knowledge of consuming and creating RESTful APIs;
  • Experience with design patterns, refactoring, performance analysis, code quality analysis;
  • Experience in using Git version-control system;
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, commented code and user-friendly interfaces;
  • Research and consult with the development team to implement the best technical solutions;
  • Taking the lead in refactor and optimizing existing codebases
  • Write specs for apps or new modules;
  • Stick with self-imposed deadlines;
  • Attend SCRUM / Replenishment meetings.
